Member hour faq
Who are members?
Anyone with an unlimited access membership. This includes the monthly auto renewing membership and prepaid memberships. The prepaid memberships will be charged a $30 key deposit which will be refunded when the key is returned.
What are member hours?
Member hours are unstaffed hours when the climbing gym is exclusively available to Rock On members and guests.
Are there any times members CAN’T climb?
Only a few. We reserve the gym some Sundays for our Bouldering 201 course, only members who are enrolled in these programs will be able to climb during these times. We also very rarely have private bookings that may block off 2hrs during the public hours.
What is the procedure for member hours?
Members will receive a FOB program under their name. Do not share this fob or hold the door for anyone. Make sure the door is securely closed behind you.
When you enter, scan your member ID card.
Follow all the same general gym rules while in Rock On.
When you leave, if there is no one else in the gym be sure to turn off ALL lights and make sure the door is securely closed behind you.
How do I bring a guest during member hours?
If your guest does NOT have a membership or 10 punch pass or has never been in before
Have your guest sign a climbing waiver
Fill in a guest form in the members tab (HERE)
ALL guests must pay for entry, even if they are not climbing.
You may bring up to 2 guest during members hours
You must be present with guests
If your guest has their own membership or 10 punch pass and has been in before
Be sure they ALSO scan their member ID to check-in
What if there is an injury during member hours?
You are responsible for your safety.
You may use the ring door bell at the front to call the general manager.
Call 911 for any injuries
No smoking, drugs or alcohol allowed in the gym. No one may be at the gym intoxicated ever.
Is there an age requirement for member hours?
Guests and members under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
